 Remote Learning!
Hello Reading ASI Students!

Thank you
to all of my students who completed their lessons and submitted their work last week, I am leaving the lessons in the folder above in case you have not finished.
This week will be a continuation of lessons to promote reading comprehension and fluency.  The reader's response will allow me to assess that you understood what you read and also provide practice answering questions in complete sentences.
I encourage you to read as much as you can during this break from school, relax and allow the stories to take you on an adventure, or learn something new!
Good Luck!
May 26-May 29: All grades will continue online lessons, videos, and written responses this week! Students can click on the document folder, find your grade level lesson and complete by the end of the week!
Your lessons this week will include a reading passage, a reader's response, and a video or game/activity!
If you have any questions or need help with your lessons please email me at Jtapke@hesk6.us and I will get back to you right away.  Virtual school hours are Monday -Friday 9am-1pm

Have a great week!
Mrs. Tapke

Reading teachers provide students with opportunities to read, examine and critically evaluate multiple genres of text and encourage children to use writing to respond to text. Ultimately, my goal is to instill the love of reading with every student I work with!

Parents and family members can continue to support children's learning by reading regularly with their children and promoting children to read independently. Also, frequently visit libraries and bookstores to expose their children to a variety of books and literature!
