Dear Parents,

   I want to welcome you and your child to Computer Class at Highlands Elementary.. My name is Tracie Abbes and I will be your child's teacher for the remainder of this school year!

   I have been an educator for over eleven years and just moved back to New Jersey from Florida . I was born and raised in Miami , Florida where I attended Florida International University and earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. My first teaching job was as a Fourth Grade teacher in Monmouth County , New Jersey and is also where I met my husband. We moved to Central Florida in 1998 to be closer to my family. In 2001 we were married and began raising a family. We have a 7 year old daughter, a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. After 11 ½ years in Florida I am very excited to be back in New Jersey and teaching at Highlands Elementary.

     I look forward to an exciting and successful year. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you ever have a question or concern about your child's education.
